We’re here and there’s a group of us who aren’t silent. The MAGA & Nationalist “Christians” probably would not recognize Jesus if they met him. They might even try to deport him. The Bible says if we do something to the least of people, we do it unto him.

Agree that since the Supreme Court gave Trump broad immunity for official acts, the only way to stop this misappropriation of taxpayer funds is to have some serious consequences for those who are complicit.

The Trump admin accused the Smithsonian, and specifically the American-history museum, of not being patriotic, but the museum’s leadership points to an abundance of such material on display inside, and maintains that telling the American story in its full complexity is a crucial part of its role.

“Our work is governed by the Smithsonian’s standards of scholarship, accuracy, independence, and nonpartisanship,” Hartig told two House committees this summer. “The museum does not take sides in America’s political debates. We preserve and document the evidence of American life in all its breadth, so that the public can encounter the past and draw their own conclusions.”
