Launching Tuesday, October 13th! #mcdm #drawsteel
I'm convinced that the only reason people got excited about RPG Trader is that DriveThruRPG is so godawful in comparison. RPG Trader isn't particularly good. It just cleared an exceptionally low bar.
After months of dithering and $0 in lifetime sales, I've delisted my products from RPG Trader.
If you don't get information about your customers, they're not your customers.
My products can be found at pestopublications.itch.io. For all its issues, at least Itch lets me know who my customers are.
Congratulations on the release!
They merge into cargo shorts of holding.
Folks, I *promise* there is context here.
Considering that Gemini marks their AI images by putting a four pointed star in the bottom right corner of their slop, y'all should seriously reconsider the logo / its placement in that image.
I had the absolute pleasure of designing the kobold dastards, as well as some of the montages, in Draw Steel: Encounters. “The Amazing Two Kobolds High Maneuver” is one of my favorite things I've ever designed. If you don't occasionally break out giggling as you design, what's the point?
Thanks to the generosity of László "Ironkladz" Koller, Reinforcements: Goblins and Reinforcements: Humans now have Forge Steel sourcebooks! The download links are in the Itch pages.
100%. For those unfamiliar, Van Halen had a line in their rider that essentially said “no brown M&Ms.” It was a way to see if the promoter had actually read the contract. They had a shitload of gear to tour with, so if they’re skipping one thing, it’s guaranteed they’re skipping something essential.
Anyone know of any games other than Database Detective: Minor Crimes Division that teach SQL?
Miro got bought by a notorious private equity mill.
Before Owlbear Rodeo—when we were testing the original Illrigger—we ran in Miro. Some testers still do.
The Bending Spoons playbook means Miro is probably going to axe most of their staff and their free tier soon.
I'm having way too much fun creating the art brief for this.
Thanks to the generosity of Reese Williams, Reinforcements: Goblins is now available in #Stawl!
I've added a notepad file with the link and instructions. I've also updated the PDF to v1.04 to fix an omitted "2d10 + 2".
You can download the new files here: pestopublications.itch.io/reinforcemen...
Summer... ends? In Miami we have wet summer, dry summer, and that day where it drops into the 60s, which is usually sometime in February.
I want to pet the kitty.
"They have much to do to repair trust, in my view." Oh, so it must be a year that starts with 2.

What I want to tell people is "ditch DTRPG entirely and spend all of your marketing efforts driving customers towards your own website or Itch", but most people won't take that advice. I deliberately left RPG Trader off that list. If you're not getting customer's emails, they're not your customers.
