Hiya! Since it's almost Halloween, it's time for one of my "favorite" spooky season PSAs! Don't buy taxidermy bats! None of them are ethically sourced, most are endangered, and the market for taxidermy or freeze dried bats is descimating local populations. Etsy, ebay, curio shows, none are okay.

I see a lot of posts saying that you need to be creative, you need to draw, defy the odds, yaddayadda. Hey. It's ok to be tired. It's ok to not be able to do much. It's ok to just sit on the couch and stare at the wall. Please drink some water. Take a shower if you can. It's ok.

The batteries in my tamagotchi paradise lasted 56 days which isn't too bad! Had a bit of a spook when I got the low battery warning. But everything is fine and I still have my little guy!

Please don't unnecessarily push yourself into burnout. There's a huge part of hustle culture that's extremely toxic and champions overwork, and it took me years to realize there's a difference between being productive and being self destructive.

Those are some beautiful colors. Perfect for fall

Crud.... I've got a fever
