Slots are still available! I normally charge for readings, so this is a great opportunity for schools
I like to follow folks who post regularly & about interesting stuff. I’m not so keen on following anyone who spends most of their time being angry or critical (however valid).
I feel like I wanna connect more with #comics people who either make kids comics or (generally) sfw comics.
Where are you all hiding??? 😆
Ha it would be interesting to see what the difference is for that feed here vs my other account!
I do curate my following and feeds. The thing is this account is supposed to be for my main work and the associated communities interested in that. To some degree it works, but I want to extend it beyond that. I also suspect my usual audience is spending less time on socials in general.
It will say again though - if anyone is doing a nice big lawsuit for IMAGES in datasets, lemme know coz I have copyrights for a bunch of picture books. And I’m sure the art for some of those are in some dataset, somewhere 😤🤬
ALA stands with library workers, readers, and communities working to keep books available. Our work helps ensure everyone can seek information and make their own reading choices. Your gift makes that work possible.
Helps us protect the freedom to read at ala.org/protect.
I truly need to follow more people here who post more often... my Following feed sometimes feels like I only follow 5 people, and every 3rd post is from the one person who is chronically online 😬
Working through finals! Working on comic! Playing with new apps! Something! Car! (That's all my brain has words for right now lol)
7. Feline. "Fancy Frieda, the fetching feline, fandangoed across the room." October drawing challenge time again, or as I've been calling it, Kentober. Using the #scbwiartober2026 prompts this year. Let's see if I make it all the way through! #kentober2026 #inktober2026 #kidlitart #feline

When Oliver opened his lunch he was surprised to find his lost pack of gummy worms from Halloween in his sandwich with some friends..... who must've been hungry too. Needless to say Oliver lost his appetite…🪱🥪
I’ll see if I can do the info session at least!

Today over on Threads many writers had a freakout because rumors were going around that publishing is imploding (it's not; Threads just loves drama). But I posted info on a bunch of publishing newsletters that provide actual info for people who want to stay informed, so I'll share those here.
I'll DM you
I would like to apply for this project but I am very intimidated by the budget (the person or team awarded the project has to manage the funds).
Anyone want to partner with me… 👀
