it's a bit concerning that instead of responding to obvious political incentives and moderating on some of their worst and most unpopular policies, the Trump administration is getting more and more extreme

This is completely outrageous and disgusting. This must immediately be blocked by Congress and Trump should be impeached for this. The US is now funding Putin’s war machine as he murders civilians including children. We are lost as a country.

AI workers seem to fall into insular cultishness and this piece below says it's gotten to an extreme at Anthropic. I suspect their notions of consciousness are mechanistic, whether it's about us or their machines.
