This morning's chazza shop vinyl haul: Britten, Purcell, Vaughan Williams, Elgar.
This story warms my heart. Wonderful.
I mean Captain Obvious post of the day, but fucking heck that guy.
Tr*mp really is a cunt isn't he.
Wife hates the Alien franchise as much as I love it. She's more into Lord of the Rings, which isn't hugely my thing, but I think they're great films.
Wife just used the words '17 days' in a conversation we were having, so naturally I had to do the quote.
I've worked with Brian a few times over the years and he's actually not that loud! He is completely bonkers though.
If you get panicky seeing photos of Brian Blessed pop up today (as I just did), don't worry, it's just his 90th birthday.
Thanks!

In my defence I've currently got a stinking cold which I'm sure I picked up on the Northern Line this week.
I mean, technically about 27 years, but 16 with this particular synth. It was a proper brain fart moment.
Scratching my head trying to work out why Cubase isn't recording any MIDI while I'm playing bits in. Turns out I need to use the controller keyboard, not the actual synth. I've only been using this set-up for about 16 years.
Little flurry of Bandcamp sales the last couple of days. Almost restores my faith in the music scene. Almost.
Pease Pudding vibes.
For me it has to be something old ('60s/'70s) and a bit naff. Not too demanding. Anything with Doug McClure is perfect. Planet of the Apes. '70s disaster movies.
Brace yourselves, it's Bandcamp Friday.
Ha, cool! For me it was a black and white TV that you had to tune with a knob! (It was the '80s...)
