@polypartist.bsky.socialIt seems to me the people who lecture us that 'life is sacred' do not give a damn about QUALITY of that life. As long as a physical body stays alive, they think that's an ethically positive outcome. That's the same mentality we see in the anti-abortion militants.
@polypartist.bsky.socialA traditional google search is often utterly useless, and a (non google) AI will instantly produce sourced answers you can follow up on to get the information needed. It will even provide useful technical terms for something you describe to it, plus overviews, etc. Extremely useful research tool.

@polypartist.bsky.socialI find it makes for a much superior search engine, because you can ask it very specific, nuanced questions, which it then offers 'starting point' replies to, rather than it bombarding me with lists of mindlessly key-word generated URL results, like google does, of which 99% prove irrelevant.
