I put together a "15 minute session" for Liminal Horror anticipating this issue haha. Vendor hall kinda dead? Come to the table and we'll make a character and run a little encounter.

My advice is generally "get the low tier Casper mattress and put a topper on it since they're pretty firm". That'll still run you like $900, which is bad, but not like Tempur-Pedic bad. I think Sealy has foam and hybrids that run like $300-400.

When we put together LH: Outbreak (our con event), the solution was just “fuck it, this is a new fake city that’s basically owned by a corp that heavily invested in the infrastructure”. Seems like that’s along the lines of IR’s solution too haha.

RE0 gets away with this a bit by having an above ground line for their double decker passenger line, but even that was a bit of a stretch haha.
