@johnsollitto.bsky.socialLanterns thought: Hal's poor teaching could be explained by his origin in the comics. He gets the ring and just goes "Better help people!" No Corps for 2 years. Which would have made the "You taught me two things. Jack and Shit." conversation even funnier because, yeah, that's how Hal learned.
