@wachelreeks.com@wachelreeks.comBRAND NEW NARRATIVE FOR A UB SET? THAT RULES!
@wachelreeks.comWe saw their episode go up on Tuesday and were like, "WELP! More traps for everyone!"
@wachelreeks.com
@wachelreeks.comHahahaha. Fun bit for sure.
@wachelreeks.comYesterday, in a Commander game, I watched a deck steal my Grandma, load her into a cannon and shoot her at another Grandma. Magic is good.
@wachelreeks.com"I have a deck you can borrow." *Its mana base*
@wachelreeks.comI am kidding. This mana base is my nightmare.
@wachelreeks.comThere are now 22 lands that ask you to choose a color when they enter. This means we are getting closer to building a deck with the ✨perfect✨ mana base.

@wachelreeks.com"My deck is all about making my opponents learn about banding—" "Wait. Where'd everybody go?"

@wachelreeks.comPlayed this updated Grandmother Goby list for the first time today and attacked with 18 23/23 Merfolk tokens, so a very successful first game! It's pretty inconsistent in goldfishing, so looking forward to getting another game in with it.
@wachelreeks.comIf you like this one, you should watch this too! We talk about the combat phase and its steps; keywords and the combination thereof; and confusing combat mechanics like goad and banding.
@wachelreeks.comThank you so much! I was really pleased with it.
@wachelreeks.comThe Zeta Set is taking a mulligan!
If you want another shot at picking up these packs, Wizards is giving it to you. I'm glad they are getting more of these cards out in the world. They are so cool looking.
@wachelreeks.comTo this day, I think this is the most helpful episodes of the podcast I've ever worked on. @alsonamedjosh.bsky.social and I go through the language nuances of a Magic card and what they mean for its mechanics. It was a huge level up moment for me in my Magic understanding.
@wachelreeks.comYou should! It’s a real challenge!
