Every year I do a Dia de los Muertos picture to show art progression. I kind of went with a different vibe. I tried to be more traditional with the holiday itself. Here are all the ones I’ve done since I started digital art.

This is my entry for the vgen August contest… The word was paradise…My idea of paradise is reuniting with my lost loved ones and feeling freedom from…everything. The gold being is the loved one reaching for me. I drew them in the clouds and stars to convey a feeling of freedom.

Being of light and reaching for the viewer. Thy are surrounded by clouds and stars. The clouds are blue. The being is surrounded by splendid color. This piece was drawn with the idea of paradise. My idea of paradise is reuniting with lost loved ones and feeling free from everything else. The gold being is the loved one. I used clouds and the stars to convey a feeling of freedom.
