Americans for Tax Fairness AF found that billionaire donations were up 5,200%. AfTF says billionaire spending is “up 53-fold” since the 2010 midterms. A 53-fold rise is the same as a 5,200% increase.

$1.7 billion: Americans for Tax Fairness AF found 170 billionaire families spent more than $1.7B on the 2026 midterms. This count covers FEC filings from 1-1-25 through 8-28-26. The real total is probably higher by now, much higher by Election Day. If you’re not a billionaire, vote & bring a friend.
