I got to talk with @letsdamage.bsky.social about his post-superhero superhero apocalypse dystopian TTRPG - yes, you read that right. The setting is unique - Judge Dredd meets Days of Future Past. Listen below or on any pod platform.

P good
Yes! Again, as an outsider, the fact that there are like 3-4 years between new editions that require buying entire armies is insane and a huge red flag. You couldn't pay me to invest time into a hobby following that model. Then the supposedly cheap intro set is what, $250? Cmon dogg
The big LGS here has recently removed all of its considerable TTRPG displays and just has them spine-out on a bookshelf now. Tables move product! Not looking great for crowdfunding TTRPGs lately, either
"This dim bulb has blundered into making a good point somehow"
"unwittingly" Thanks, Ian -- hey, wait a minute
This is interesting to me as someone who's largely an outsider to Games Workshop (and wargaming in general). I've seen tables and shelf space devoted to Warhammer (and MtG, of course) completely squeeze every other type of game into the literal corners of the local shops.
I have a solo/co-op RPG on Gamefund.
Myco//Drift is a biopunk RPG in which players take on the roles of genetically altered pilots bonded to skyscraper-sized fungal bio-mechs fighting Kaiju mutant bugs!
The sheer number of people who tell me I'd love The Boys has me thinking hard about how I carry myself and the impression that others get from that
"let people enjoy things"
Look, I knew there was a risk this crowdfunding campaign on Gamefound wasn't going to work out, but when the Five Orbs tell me something, I listen
Only 7 days left to back this thing. If you haven't already, it'd be pretty cool if you did
