The point of the exhibition is to challenge visitors to make a connection they had never thought of before: the forest is an oil space and if we are going to make green transitions, we have to understand the depth of the entanglement.

The Lusto team did workshops with forest professionals in preparation for the exhibition to get them thinking about connections. One of the prompt questions: what does the material of a camping mug you choose say about you?

The team has overlaid petroculture on the 6 themes of the core exhibition (forest nature, green gold, lifeblood, forest folk, valued forest & forest work) cleverly using oil barrels filled w objects.
