Interesting on both counts 😊

Impressive & diverse exhibition ‘Chronotopic’ by Gabriel Orozco at White Cube, Bermondsey. Approximately 200 new & existing works. A short film at the gallery about the artist is worth watching. Free.

The Symphony Hall is on my list! 😊

Many memories of weekly CBSO concerts I went to in the 70s/80s as a student - although dropped off in 1982! Fabulous solid building. Saw Oscar Peterson Trio play there but never a band. Glad you had a great night, Kev.

Came across this last night - presented by Sean O’Hagan. Great listen. I had a Skeleton & Roses Dead poster as a teen. I can’t remember why as I couldn’t hum a song of theirs. This programme gives me some understanding. (Wish I’d kept the poster).

Gorgeous colour out there ☀️

Imagine 🩵 Released 55 years ago in the UK. I bought the album a few months later let loose in Washington D.C. whilst on a youth orchestra trip.

Happy birthday Gary! Have the best day! 🌻 🎂 ☀️ x

Tomorrow - Tuesday! Herne Bay 6pm

How lovely. Thanks Kev 😊

Delighted about this! Great connection too 🎻

I think I’ve listened to I Can See The Sun in Late December about 30 times this week. Like a hymn. & there’s a live version - on you tube - much slower - that’s stunning

Wondering what else is lying around in the vaults

My first book event in a record shop! Alongside learning to play the violin at 9 I started to buy records (singles) - one of the first was ‘I Got You Babe’ - Sonny & Cher. I loved the song and the musicians. Obv had no idea it was The Wrecking Crew 🤩🎶 See you on Thursday 15th October 😊

Thursday 15th October 7pm. See you there! Tickets below - refundable against the book 📖
