@spaceybat.comMy favorite level visually though was Night Palace, Reignition's lighting really made it pop! It was also the start of a really strong narrative finale that had Sonic showing emotions he rarely gets to express, and I adored Jason Griffith's vocal performance throughout!
@spaceybat.comNow that I've played Secret Rings, I'd say my favorite level mechanically was Levitated Ruins, specifically because of the sensation of running along the light trails through the sky. Genuinely one of the most serene moments I've felt in a Sonic game 💜
