For those of you who paint - how do you go about selling you're paintings? etsy? How do you deal with shipping? I'd like to start selling some of my paintings. Thx
Finished! "Undertow" Acrylic on 20" x 20" canvas.
Picked up @blambot.bsky.social's new SFX Brush Set, and quickly drew up these SFX using them for practice. All done by hand with my mouse as my brain cannot work with the delay & disconnect of my Wacom Bamboo.
Another knock out resource for ANYONE who makes comics.

“Undertow” is finished. Pics tomorrow when it’s dry.
I watched Backrooms last weekend, and really enjoyed it. The surreal, anxiety-inducing liminal space aspect was a refreshing alternative to the mediocre state of horror movies for the last couple of decades. I have not watched the YouTube series.
Another new Illustrator brush set: BasicBlox BB. I just needed..well, something basic...and blocky...but with a little organic jitter to the edges. I think I might have enough of these to release a new collection pretty soon.
Update on the official Alex Toth font. The family and I are going through the revision process on the Regular version, making small adjustments. Here's a look in Fontlab. I've made it a point to keep as many of Toth's "habits" as possible; certain letters overlapping, etc.
5) I literally crawled up onto the beach in shock. I was bleeding from cuts all over me. I broke two toes. But I made it back to shore. I've lived near the coast for many years, and even though I respected the ocean, I learned never to turn my back on it again.
4) Which meant I was suddenly right-side-up. I kicked at the rocks as hard as I could, and somehow broke the undertow. I bobbed to the surface, gasping, and swam as hard as I could for shore.
3) I was pretty sure I was about to die. I couldn't tell the difference between up or down. I tumbled. My wife & mom would realize I wasn't coming back to the surface. They were going to witness my drowning. Somehow, I ended up with mt feet dragging on rock...
2) I took my eyes off the incoming surf for a second, and got hit by a big wave. I went down, and the undertow took me. I felt myself being drawn out to deeper water. I was dragged along the rocks at the bottom like a cheese grater, and curled into a ball to protect myself...
About 15 years ago, I nearly drowned. My mother was visiting from out of state and we decided to go to the beach. It was "off season" so no lifeguards and barely anyone there. I decided to have a swim while my wife and mom hung out on the beach...
“Undertow” day 4. Acrylic on 20”x20” canvas. One more day and I’m probably done.
“Undertow” day 3. Acrylic on 20”x20” canvas. This is all basically a background layer. Planning on some big areas of an off-white next. There’s a little bit of glare in the photo. Sorry.
