If like me you have inevitable #arthritis that #old guys get don't go to Brisbane's new #GlasshouseTheatre. There last night for excellent 'Fiddler on the Roof'. Seats are as hard as nails and there is only cramped legroom. Greedy owners have destroyed excellent theatre.

The #Liberals have no one who is PM material other than #JoshFrydenberg. They need him desperately as #democracy only works if there is strong Opposition no matter who is in power.

Have not met any MP's who occupy centre ground of #politics. Many say they are either centre left or centre right and still lean towards useless #ideology. They are unable to look at any issue and ask 'how do we solve this problem via commonsense'. They simply can't stop playing politics.

Most politicians & far too many voters think we must decide whether or not we stand on left or right of #politics. Actually those who decide they are left or right have closed minds filled with ancient #ideology. Hope you are with me in political centre where we live by the ideology of commonsense.

Whenever #Liberals & #Nationals say they will give preferences to #PaulineHanson & share power with her they tell voters it is okay to vote for her. Soon they will not exist.

Passing of #JeffreyArcher recalls his incredible feat of selling 300 million of his many books. I am in raptures if I sell 5000 copies of any of my 6 books. Archer was a 'page turner'. I often wanted to turn one more page before nodding off to sleep. 'Kane and Abel' was his finest book.

Made it around #Uluru on my 95th birthday. So many friends helped me walk the 11kms. And so far we have raised 105000 dollars for @DorcasACTS. My grateful thanks.

Helen and I walked 11 kilometres earlier this week to make sure we could walk around #Uluru on my 95th birthday. Did it in 3 hours 15 minutes. Will need to walk faster at Uluru but we are in with a chance. The faster I walk the less my #arthritis hurts.

With goodwill may I suggest to @albomp.bsky.social & @jimchalmers.bsky.social that they foster #intergenerationalpartnerships that create small businesses and also allow pensioners to earn wages up to amount of #pension without incurring loss of pension.

Rises in interest rates cause pain but its interesting to compare eras. When Helen & I got our first home in 1958 it cost 4000 pounds (8000 dollars). Our mortgage interest rate was 4.5%. Now costs have risen unjustifiably & must come down. Been too much greed in #construction & #property markets.
