Even though it's reused, the Melvyn Grant art it sure as hell beats Judas Priest's original album cover for "Rocka Rolla". Even the band hated the original, lol. That's corporate interference, for you.

Really puzzles me why these were never re-released. They're so freaking good. And Manabu Namiki's OSTs are 10/10.

Fun fact: The Ballistix TurboGrafx-16 cover art by Melvyn Grant was originally used for a 1981 novel called "The Steel Tsar" and also reused for the 1984 reissue of Judas Priest's 1974 debut album "Rocka Rolla."

I know, man. I've been going to metal shows since 2003, and I've NEVER seen something like that.

What was not great was some douche next to me doing N*zi salutes and spewing racist garbage during Alceste and Deafheaven's sets. 2 guys called him out, he started making threats, and security came and dragged the belligerent asshat out of the building. Good riddance! 👋

The Mastodon / Deafheaven / Alceste show in Oakland rocked! When Mastodon brought out John Baizley from Baroness, they played a bunch of tunes I'd been dying to hear, like "Oblivion"!

Today is the only day you can share this. I wonder what happens when you stare at that “October 10th” date for a while? 🤔

I hope he realized the impact his music made on people. RIP!

Happy Birthday to Breath of Fire II's exiled princess, Nina Windia!

"Electrical Communication" or we riot

That's the last founding member of Judas Priest bowing out of the lineup. 😢 What a run, though!

Funny that in the West they gave it the "Assault Horizon" subtitle despite having nothing much to do with that. I had a bulging battery on my New 3DS XL back in 2023 or so. Good reminder to turn all those portables on every month or so. But I keep my PSP batteries out when not in use.

Big if true

Literally got goosebumps as a kid when he said "In the tradition of ZELDA" 😅

Here's your companion piece for this Axe of the Blood God Illusion of Gaia (Illusion of Time) podcast -- the Nintendo Power Toys R' Us preview kiosk video that sold me on the game as a kid -- voiced by none other than Cam Clarke aka Leonardo/Liquid Snake/Ryudo.

That's pretty tight!
