For God's sake. Time to leave the Society of Authors. Not fit for purpose anymore.
I'm having a lovely time at my blog, posting quotes about writing, and wittering on about my novel in progress and the craft in general. Come and have a sticky, especially if you have any questions about your own writing! kateorman.wordpress.com #writing

🚨NEW EPISODE!🚨
We're back with our friends from @obversebooks.co.uk as we take a look at #DoctorWho - Frontios, the latest @blackarchive.co.uk release. Author Paul Driscoll joins us to discuss it.
Name your price (including free!)
Hiya - Looks like it got lost in the ether, the last one we have from you was last May! Could you just drop me a line on stuart AT obversebooks.co.uk?
The full family pic of the charity Peter Cushing Dr Who novels from @obversebooks.co.uk.
Erm, yes? Why?
The ebook and combo deals for the 85th Black Archive - FRONTIOS by Paul Driscoll is now available!
I know we said we were done, but what can I say - there's still so many stories to tell! Further news very soon, including pre-order links (all profits to Alzheimer charities, as ever).
Nice to see that my contribution to Obverse Books' Black Archives, #68, is now available in a bundle alongside some excellent authors. The reprint includes updates to cover the Blu-ray release, too.
Also released today: the @jonarnold.bsky.social Black Archive Bundle!
Four books, one writer, 100% Welsh.
To soften the blow of the new prices, and because I know some folk wait for the 10 book bundles - plus I don't want to start charging them more when they're both patient and loyal! - we've released the next bundle early (books 61 - 70), and we'll hold it at the old price until the end of the month.
Today is the last day to buy Black Archives at the £5.99 sale price - the eleven year long Archive sale ends tomorrow!
Sorry about that but we've kept the price as low as possible for years, and adding a couple of pound on to a book is only an extra pound a month, so I hope you'll keep supporting the range (though if you can't afford to, we obviously totally understand!) Next up - Frontios and Tomb of the Cybermen!
The price of Archives has only gone up once in 10+ years since 2016 and printing costs have gone up many times since then, to the extent it now costs me money to sell copies of some of the longer Archives! As a result, we're scrapping the 5.99 sale price on the website from next week.
SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE CHRISTMAS MURDERS by Stuart Douglas is currently 25% off in the Barnes & Noble Preorder Promotion! #BNPreorder

Just in case you've lost the link to donate to the RNLI rnli.org. The sea does not discriminate, neither does the RNLI and nor should we.
The Black Archive 47 - The Stones of Blood by Katrin Thier, published by @obversebooks.co.uk A fascinating exploration of the real history and intertextuality of this half folk horror, half sci-fi courtroom drama which exemplifies the wonderful springboard of wider learning that Who lends itself to.
