@whoalansi.bsky.socialSame. Biking is such a great hack for getting around in cities.
@whoalansi.bsky.socialAhhh gotcha. Yeah, this was my first bike with disc brakes & I really like it.
@whoalansi.bsky.socialWell tbh I can still ride it thanks for disc brakes, whereas if I had rim brakes, I'd be SOL for getting around while my cargo bike is in the shop. I can't drive in the boot & walking takes forever.
@whoalansi.bsky.socialHaha it's easier than walking around tbh. I'm so slow walking around in the aircast and it's so frustrating.
@whoalansi.bsky.socialThis video of me trying to show Nathan how wobbly the wheel is 😂
@whoalansi.bsky.socialI rode my gravel bike for the first time since I was hit & discovered the rear wheel actually did get damaged. Funny enough, I was riding it because the rear hub on the UA failed. Apparently it's a bad time to be a rear wheel in the dB house. #yycbike
@whoalansi.bsky.socialI'm so excited to ride this!

This is the top story on Variety right now, alongside a report on Russell Brand's rape trial beginning.
In case we're still wondering why women are angry
@whoalansi.bsky.socialHappy Thanksgiving, #yycbike ! I'm so grateful to all of you, to this incredible community.
A special thank you to @bikebikeyyc.bsky.social for doing the crazy transportation bike shop thing in our car dependant city.

@sprawlcalgary.bsky.socialReposted by @whoalansi.bsky.socialNew Sprawlcast! Calgary city hall is trying to catch up on pedestrian safety while the Alberta government is threatening to rip out bike lanes. We look at all of this—and more.
@peislandergirl.bsky.socialReposted by @whoalansi.bsky.socialWhat a fun (windy) ride to donate to the Calgary Food Bank! Thanks for organizing #cranksgiving @bikebikeyyc.bsky.social #yycbike
@daorcey.bsky.socialReposted by @whoalansi.bsky.social🔥 This isn't about zoning or bike lanes or pedestrian safety or anything else we elect our City Council to do. It's about respect (or complete disrespect) for local voters and communities. Wild.
@whoalansi.bsky.socialMe too! It asked how I got added and I'm like...no clue.
@whoalansi.bsky.socialJust three strong girlies on mini bike bus this morning. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🥹 #yycbike
@whoalansi.bsky.social@whoalansi.bsky.socialMaybe I'll finally be funny now! 😜
@whoalansi.bsky.socialIt does! (& maybe a couple extra that they need to remove in a couple months! 😂)
@whoalansi.bsky.socialThey were like...it went back together really well. You'd never know that's how bad it was. #yycbike
@whoalansi.bsky.socialThey were looking at my file in the clinic and the nurses were like oh wow, you really did it good eh? I was like, yeah, are you looking at an actual picture? And they said yes and let me take a picture of it.
