been watching baki and every third or so action fight they switch to rigged models i assume for budget reasons and like. yes, they work, theyre good models that match the style of the anime very well. they are also in constant 24fps when fight scenes usually drop lower than that for impact

one thing that pmo is when anime does like 3d asset animation for cars or fight scenes but its just straight tweeninf at 24/12fps and you can immediately tell
