I was on a Grox (Spore) kick yesterday- and ended up doing some Grox doodles- amongst some other stuff while at work.

Here's a galactic-code breaking gremlin, and concept sketches for a Grox OC I have ideas for.

#art #sketch #Spore #SporeGrox #doodle

A gremlin-styled Grox stanced up- with neco arc eye(s).

The Grox (from Spore) are a cyborg alien race that are chibi in proportions. Their heads are as large as their simple round torsos, with a green left eye, and the other half of their head covered with metal tech, as a red, unblinking bot eye. Their head also sports pointy ears, and their mouths are filled with sharp teeth.

They have two, simple-esk arms (3 fingers) and two legs (2 toes) with nubby hands and feet, with the right side of bodies sporting mechanical attachments/replacements. Their chests are covered in more tech, with red, yellow, and blue lights, exposed tubes, and a red plate resembling a core.

Biologically, their are mostly red, with a faint light patch on their ventral side, and dark stripes on the 2nd join of their limbs. And (usually in fanart) they are depicted as being fuzzy.

A sketch page of a Grox with more humanoid proportions. A sketch to the left of the image presents that this Grox OC is twice the height of a normal Grox.

The OC has the usual details, but now also has a cannon on the top of his lower arm, and armored pauldrons over his mechanical arm.

A more completed sketch of previous, with more detailing in panels, stripes, fur, and tech. He now has his left arm in view- with a lower arm-wrist attachment with a similarly shaped, yet different energy projector (its energy claws)

Notably, the striping in his fur is now more downward and angular, with zigzag/arrow stripes on his upper legs similar to an Ultraman.

Aaand heres Maryam's proper reference sheet!

#art #refsheet #characterdesign #OCsky #OCart #OC #monstergirl #dinosaurgirl #majungasaurus

Reference sheet of Maryam Airi. She's a 185cm tall majungasaurus gal, with blue scales, a long tail that's covered in small, grey osteoderms, patterned with dark blue, water-like stripes, black claws, red eyes with a gold-ish shine, blue pointy ears, and a grey horn protruding from her forehead. She's wearing a grey, baggy shirt of sort, tucked somewhat into a pair of mildy torn up jeans, and a pastel pink plaid patterned scarf wrapped around her neck.

Her expression sheet shows her giving a sharp-toothed smile, an angry glare, a neco-arc-like cat face of intrigue, and a surprised expression.
The doodle below shows her skills as an actress that's comfortable in leading roles- posing beneath a spotlight whilst wearing a sharp jacket and suit.

Catcus.
#ocart #oc #art

My Cactus Cat oc
Her name is Lantana, she's 22 years old, 5'8 and 125 pounds
She likes drinking Cactus Juice, hugging Cushions, rare steak (mmm steak 😋), watching documentaries, sunbathing, and adding to her bone collection.
She dislikes sudden movements, being late, cold weather, surprises (she'll spike up in fear, just a little fact there), large crowds, and math.. this is because I hate math, so I put that in like all my characters lmao.
She has a cat form that she can transform into and can relax her fur to make it soft to the touch or spiky and prickly.
Apparently, Cactus Cats are like, a type of cryptid, usually found in California, New Mexico, and Nevada, so in a way, she's based off that, alongside characters who can turn into cats like Yoruichi from bleach or Blair from soul eater

I... think I might've been like saving this for when I created a refsheet for her alt form- but I got completely sidetracked.

@daikaijuchaos.bsky.social Oct 7, 2026, 6:08 AM

I... just realized I never posted this.
Welp! Perfect for spooky time! 🎃

Here's a semi-canon shoggoth maid.
#art #OCart #OCsky #OC #characterdesign #refsheet #monstergirl #shoggoth #maid

Ref sheet for the "Void Maiden" Sabeth. She is a shoggoth-like maid lady composed of a dark teal-green slime of sort, dreads-like hair with each lobe/strand tipped with a yellow eye of different style. Her face has a white mask with closed, happy eyes. She is wearing a simple, gelatinous-esk maid dress, with the frills resembling the bell margin of a jellyfish, as simple, yellow eyes with no pupils decorate her belt, apron, and down the front of her long, tube-like skirt, almost giving an alien, leech-like face with 6 eyes.
She is also holding on a large, golden needle, noted to being able to become a broom.

Another doodle notes that her mouth is actually an eye- showing it opening as she gives a wider smile.
In the background is a doodle of her worm-like monster form, noted to basically be her but stretched out and flipped upside down.
