I was on a Grox (Spore) kick yesterday- and ended up doing some Grox doodles- amongst some other stuff while at work.

Here's a galactic-code breaking gremlin, and concept sketches for a Grox OC I have ideas for.

A gremlin-styled Grox stanced up- with neco arc eye(s).

The Grox (from Spore) are a cyborg alien race that are chibi in proportions. Their heads are as large as their simple round torsos, with a green left eye, and the other half of their head covered with metal tech, as a red, unblinking bot eye. Their head also sports pointy ears, and their mouths are filled with sharp teeth.

They have two, simple-esk arms (3 fingers) and two legs (2 toes) with nubby hands and feet, with the right side of bodies sporting mechanical attachments/replacements. Their chests are covered in more tech, with red, yellow, and blue lights, exposed tubes, and a red plate resembling a core.

Biologically, their are mostly red, with a faint light patch on their ventral side, and dark stripes on the 2nd join of their limbs. And (usually in fanart) they are depicted as being fuzzy.

The OC has the usual details, but now also has a cannon on the top of his lower arm, and armored pauldrons over his mechanical arm.

A more completed sketch of previous, with more detailing in panels, stripes, fur, and tech. He now has his left arm in view- with a lower arm-wrist attachment with a similarly shaped, yet different energy projector (its energy claws)

Notably, the striping in his fur is now more downward and angular, with zigzag/arrow stripes on his upper legs similar to an Ultraman.
