My painting of The Bombed Out Church, painted on location last week with @liverpoolartists.bsky.social
I positioned my easel under a tree to avoid the intermittent showers, which gave me a view of the Cathedral too. #painting #liverpool
Thank you so much David.
Itās a beautiful image of it. Feeling rather inspiredā¦
Cinematically atmospheric.
I have signed prints of this painting looking for a home on my website. www.alexisbutterfieldart.com/product-page...
There has been a great response to my recent painting of the Tea Rooms in beautiful Port Sunlight. If you would like one, I now have limited edition prints available on my website.
Thanks so much guys. A final push today.
Our Alexis Butterfield is up for a major international award

PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT
Itās the last day to vote for my painting āThe Hotel California, Birkenheadā in the VAO international art finals.
Romantic,
but not rose tinted,
and not the kind of place that usually gets international attention.

Thank you Kera that is so kind of you. Iām very glad you like it.
I missed my train back from Port Sunlight a spent the time admiring The Tea Rooms opposite the station. Once the village post office, now a carefully stewarded piece of āforever Englandā. I particularly like the phone boxes.
Painted in a warm 20th century glow on wood panel. #painting #portsunlight
Thanks very much Owen. Much appreciated.
Thatās brilliant. Thanks for your support.
Brilliant thank you!!
3 days left to vote for my painting āThe Hotel California, Birkenheadā in the VAO international art finals.
Itās a love letter to gritty Birkenhead. Romantic, but not rose tinted, and not the kind of view that usually gets international attention.
