Chip walks down to the café for his latte, having felt like he walked 200 feet around all the parked cars taking up the closest parking spots (in reality, he only walked around the block). His shirt has acquired deep sweat stains after getting so exhausted as he brings a wing up to his forehead to wipe the sweat off his brow, huffing and puffing up a storm.

Brandy's invited Chip over to watch Hereditary, and they both relax on Brandy's couch as the big event to conclude act 1 plays out. Chip is trembling with a big handful of popcorn in one hand and his latte filled thermos in the other. His shorts are tightly pressed around his developing gut, and once the big scare happens, his button bursts right off of them, scaring the hell out of Chip.
