Good read, this. Some of my happiest memories are of living in the back of a van on tour, but the lows were epic. One thing I’m glad we did was stop at places to break up the journeys between shows and to do touristy things. Good for the old sanity, but even with that there were moments of madness.
It’s okay that nobody pays artists for music any more. They can always tour. Oh.
