I was on @fox13seattle 's Washington Sports Wrap with & I was able to share my thoughts on the Seattle Times decision to cut their soccer coverage. It's a short-sighted and arrogant decision by a publication that has the responsibility to cover all major teams in the city IMO.

We’ve got a lengthy list of players they pursued. Contact is not the issue, it’s the ability to close a deal. From sound of it, real budget came very late in process and they basically ran out of time. Frustrating to say the least.

Bad news for #Sounders 🚨

Brian Schmetzer just revealed that Pedro de La Vega could be out for the rest of the year with a "very significant left quad pull. The team is looking for a second and third opinion to figure out if surgery is needed.

For all of you who reached out about the earthquake in #Colombia

Thank you for your concern. Fortunately my family was not severely impacted. The epicenter was far enough from Bogota that for the most part there was no real damage.

Please keep those affected in your prayers 🙏🇨🇴

This is an accurate statement. I will address everything that is being publicly discussed on this matter in due time. For now, just know that I'm excited to increase my role with SAH and continue providing more content for all of our audience 🙏 Thank you to everyone that follows & enjoys my work.

Just to clear up some misinformation: While @elrolonw.bsky.social’s role with us will grow, he has no agreement with us that precludes any other work he does.

@elrolonw.bsky.social

I am actually annoyed that all of this is being publicly discussed in this fashion. However, I'll address this adequately at some point but for now I'll agree with you that this sort of situation could not come at a worse time.

I'm certain the great #Sounders coverage we all provide will continue.

Nos & LS provide such complementary reporting styles w/ @elrolonw.bsky.social strategically woven in as the common thread. WTF?! Get your sh!t together @sounderatheart.com & @lobbingscorchers.com! We can only manage one aspect of the team falling apart at a time. Is ID studio cursed like Longacres?

More bad news for the #Sounders on the injury front:

Yeimar Gómez Andrade could be out 4-6 weeks with a calf injury per Brian Schmetzer and Hassani Dotson picked up a hamstring injury that is still being assessed.

Jordan Morris & Cristian Roldan still at least 3-4 weeks out.

@elrolonw.bsky.social

Back at training after suffering their 5th consecutive loss, #Sounders seem to at least have Alex Roldan doing some work with the team.

Pedro de La Vega, Yeimar Gómez Andrade and Ryan Sailor are also all out here today.

Unfortunately there is no sign of Cristian Roldan.

@elrolonw.bsky.social

And we are bbbbbaaacccckkk at the #Sounders clubhouse for their Wednesday training session.

Looks like Pedro de La Vega is not out here although I hear he is in schedule to do partial trainings with the team. On the other hand Yeimar looks full in today. Apologies for my absence bluesky 🙏

Terrible news from #Sounders training:

Nikola Petkovic has suffered an ACL injury in his right kneee that will require surgery and would almost certainly keep him from returning this season.

Brian Schmetzer said he would add more information on the injury as it comes his way.
