I’m sitting outside listening to Johnny Clarke and blowing ghosts at the sky when I hear a sound. An insect. I hear it again. More clicking than chirping. Loud. I hear it over Clarke. Again. It’s the fucking sound from Pedrator. Cool. It gets louder, moves. Now it’s…unsettling.

I knew there was sorcery involved!

Plucky? What, cutesy too pedestrian? I’ve been reading and reviewing New Directions for years and they’re one of the top publishers period.

Had a clear idea for a novel today. That’s fucking RARE. Don’t get me wrong, I have a ton of ideas. Most are garbage—toothless, from the wrong gods, normal, more versions of Jaws, etc. Clear ones? Bigfoot sighting. Anyway, bestselling tech thriller/horror novel or…nothing.

I mean, “won” is one way to put it… Congrats ans thanks for sharing! Libraries and librarians are awesome. 🖤
