A disappointing evening adds just two points to the weekend score, the equivalent of a trip to the boulangerie and back. 🥐 Good job I’m enjoying Aire-sur-la-Lys. Hope to press on further south next week! #FPL
@nitramfpl.bsky.socialIt seems that at 06:30 on Saturday I blearily eyed didn’t captain Saka. Happy accident.

🗺️ GW6 🏃♂️ 81 pts (km) 🌍 2 Yet to play
A bumper day has seen me run 81km this GW so far, taking me into the French countryside and the exquisite little town of Aire-sur-la-Lys. Quick trip to the UNESCO belfry before hopefully more points tomorrow night will move me on! 🇫🇷
@nitramfpl.bsky.social100% not worth the price rise to £12m, would have been better priced at £10m

🧢 Saka - sorry Mahatma
Was always WC6 and feels good to have a squad set up for weeks. (That’s cursed it now!!) Expect Silva 🍒 to come in for Hall or MDC at some stage, as well as probably a Palmer/Saka switcheroo when 🇪🇺 games bite. Let’s go!
@nitramfpl.bsky.socialKonsa gone. Even if he does play I need the team is this period to be full of players “safe” for the next ten weeks. Just not sure he is. In comes Bobby Thomas, out go the rotating keepers and in comes Raya and a £4.0. Bring on GW6 #FPL
@nitramfpl.bsky.socialThanks, made my mind up there.
@nitramfpl.bsky.socialLooking forward to @fpljoe.bsky.social trying to pick out injury news from these press conferences for the pod today 😂😂😂
@nitramfpl.bsky.socialI remember it being a hot day. Maybe around 1999/2000 time. About age 12 and my dad said, I’ve got you a half of lager 🍺 🤣 (probably a half shandy!) loved it 😊

GW5 - Rochester to Dover.
A modest 52 points (albeit in a very low scoring week…) is enough to see me to Dover - next stop FRANCE! 🇫🇷

GW4 - North London to Rochester.
Another stunning week saw me cross the Thames, exit London and head into the “Garden of England”. Rochester, home to a castle where I had my first ever beer!

GW3 - Cambridge to North London.
A good week, with a relatively decent TC return, saw me make it to just outside London, in the middle of Epping Forest. Didn’t see the Black Knight.

GW2 - Sleaford to Cambridge.
A monster week saw me tear through the Fens and into somewhere I have only been about four times but have always enjoyed it. 🧑🎓 Cheers, Bruno!

Season summary!
GW1 - LN2 to Sleaford.
A decent opening weekend, using my bench boost, saw me get through the Lincolnshire countryside to the small market town of Sleaford, probably best known because of the Mods 🤣 Have actually spent a lot of time there, decent place.

With my 380 points (KMs), I have made it (safely) from LN2 to Dover.
Ready to board, ☕️ in hand, let’s see how far into 🇫🇷 this week’s haul will get me!
Hoping for the canals of Watten, or maybe a light 🍺 in St Omer. Just hope to get away from Calais as quickly as possible!
@nitramfpl.bsky.socialI now don’t know if this ChatGPT’d or not
@nitramfpl.bsky.socialWith and without 🤔
