This week I toured the Southern Regional Carpenters training center and learned about the training & skills of our union carpenters in GA. As a supporter of registered apprenticeship programs, I’m ready to support our union brothers and sisters as the next congresswoman of GA-13.

This week, I met with Mayor Connie Alsobrook, a historymaker as both the first Black and female mayor of Conyers! I am excited to collaborate with Mayor Alsobrook on transportation, infrastructure, and environmental issues when I take office.

This week I joined several leaders from across metro Atlanta for Impact Day at Clark Atlanta University where I had a chance to tour the new Student Success Center. As an educator, I appreciate these resources that support our students and help them thrive in school and beyond.

Supporting small, local businesses has been one of my favorite parts of being a State Representative. I was honored to join my friends at Haven Bodega this weekend for their 2nd anniversary celebration. Haven has been so great for our community and I wish them many more successful years to come.

RFK Jr.’s anti-science, anti-vaccine rhetoric is wreaking havoc. Here in GA, measles cases have doubled from last year. We should follow the evidence, listen to medical experts, and trust decades of research. That’s why I’m running to be a science voice in Congress!

True-Party Affiliation will be on the ballot this November. Truer: Republicans passed a discriminatory law to remove party affiliation for county races in only 5 Metro counties in 2028. Truest: We need to elect a Gov Bottoms and flip the GA State House and undo this mess!

Where you live shouldn’t determine whether you can safely give birth. Rural Georgia families deserve access to prenatal care, maternity services and emergency care close to home. We need to make sure our rural hospitals have the resources to stay open. That's one reason I'm running for Congress!
