I hate that this is the reality that's been forced on us but I agree. There are quite a few pros-turned-sloperators working & thriving out there. They usually aren't forthcoming with their audience, agents or clients. Pointing to someone's prolific pre-AI history isn't the be all & end all proof.

Also the most recent ai post he made was in May of 2026, so.

2023 was *identical* to 2026 in terms of ai discourse among artists

I don’t think anything bad happened there, she responded with tact and stands on decades of solid evidence. I don’t see that as “a situation” we have to avoid repeating

I’d rather we respond habitually & without ire to ai allegations, than try to scold people with suspicions. You’re right to be suspicious- some veterans & once-trusted studios are trying to sneak trash in. It’s heartbreaking that it’s happening but I’m *thrilled* we’re not normalizing it

*and Individual artists I’m not above being accused, no studio I work for is, and fwiw since her name came up Loish isn’t either, we can easily rebut anything people might suspect with hours and in some cases decades of proof

Show me process, name a human artist, give me a chain of trusted vetting from reliable sources, speak up and say you hate slop- it’s not hard

I reserve the right to cast aspersions, I think the world as it stands requires studios (individual artists) to do a little more legwork to prove authorship and speak out against ai, and that’s a net good. Wanting the passive experience of assumed trust back is wishful

Look, I’ve deleted the post- but I’m not inclined to trust a hopeful sounding steam description over my instincts and I don’t advise you to do so either 🤷‍♂️
