Worlds Beyond
My piece created for the Furality Ultra art gallery – a tribute to the joy of gaming from times past to the present, and finding a place in our world for all kinds of experiences.
Thank you to all the friends I have made in these spaces for bringing colour to my life 🌈

Digital painting. An avali wearing a VR headset dances joyously in a warmly sunlit bedroom. In the foreground, a collection of 2000's era game consoles and magazines are spread around. Beyond the avali, an array of posters and ornaments show a vibrant collection of scenes. Many photos of friends are displayed on PC monitors and printed photos on the wall.

The blue tree monitor! I don’t always draw proper lizard toes, but sometimes it just makes sense, and this is one of those cases!

An illustration of a blue tree monitor in the forest.

Born of different belief and brood; but becoming brothers in duty.
Chai would have preferred to avoid cooperation with humans. When both species share the goal of survival against a bigger threat, though, he will ensure there's no question of loyalty.

I couldn't help myself :> Controlled by an uplink with the mind of a host, essentially temporarily uploading it into its system for full immersive use. It's primary use is for reconnaisance and science on hostile planets, specialized for aquatic use!
