Ive been at least slightly productive while I'm sick! While I can't show you everything ive sketched, I should show off this lovely lady #Sangheili! That I've been making a story with since September! Im not fully happy with her armour, so I might toy around with it more later

A lightly armored Sangheili crouched behind a box, looking over it at something. The hilt of her energy sword clutched in her right hand.

i’m making huge progress with #sangheili. i think what’s been fascinating is finding out just how much 343i was actually still using the halo reach conlang in plain sight.

for example. the brute plasma rifle, “kewu r'shi'k“, literally translates to “fire blood”, which they told us was “blood-hand”.

Kewu R'shi'k-pattern plasma rifle [renders of the Halo Brute Plasma Rifle, which is red rather than the standard blue]

Q&A, as promised!

Please say which character you're asking the question to. (you can also ask me about them directly.)

Some replies may have art, some may just be text. I might not answer everything, but we'll see!

Keep it clean and let's have fun!

Born of different belief and brood; but becoming brothers in duty.
Chai would have preferred to avoid cooperation with humans. When both species share the goal of survival against a bigger threat, though, he will ensure there's no question of loyalty.

made some more progress with #sangheili now we have the bulk of the cipher. the main issue with reverse engineering is there are for sure multiple letters mappings.

there's fun lines building now.

grunts cry for their homeworld (Balaho!) and dog (as kig-yar appears to be "dog-meal", e.g. "bird"!).

This guy has been gathering dust for a couple of months, and I keep forgetting to post him. At this point, the Flood probably got him before the Chief did.

Anyway, I was trying to get the hang of acrylic brushes.

The IsoCovenant! I always thought Dural 'Mdama was too good of a character to do nothing with, and I always thought that Covenant remnants should be more like Neo Zeon from Gundam, so here's the logical conclusion of that.
#Halo #HaloSpotlight #Sangheili

The faction image for the IsoCovenant, depicting the IsoDidact Glyph with the outer edges of the Mark of the Great Journey, an image of Sangheilios, an elite labeled "SANGHEILI PALADIN," and a skirmisher labeled "KIG-YAR MISSIONARY." the image is against a purple background of a war torn region of Sangheilios, and has the following text. "The IsoCovenant are by far the largest, most militant, and best organized Covenant remnant group in the modern Milky Way Galaxy, vastly eclipsing the scattered splinters of the Banished formed in the wake of the Endless War, as well as any San'Shyuum loyalist groups. Led by Dural 'Mdama, the IsoCovenant differs from original Covenant doctrine in many key ways, deeming the San'Shyuum as false prophets and heretics, considering 'Reclaimers' (humans) to be destined to fire the rings, made sinners only by their refusal to do so, and considering Jiralhanae to be barbaric by nature and unable to walk the path of the Great Journey. The core tenet of IsoCovenant religion beyond all else is a deep reverence for the works and legacy of the IsoDidact, a Forerunner whom Dural 'Mdama and his followers believe will someday return to complete the Great Journey and put an end to the sinful ways of the Reclaimers. The IsoCovenant is considered by the RSC to be the second greatest threat to galactic unity, closely following behind ONI. Ironically, the IsoCovenant often find themselves in open conflict with ONI, despite their primary enemies being the Swords of Sangheilios, led by Thel 'Vadam, who Dural 'Mdama has described as an "Arbiter perhaps beyond saving.""

"Send Me An Angel"

Nothing can beat the guy who saved this ODST's rear-end from spiraling off into the void!
Only that it's THAT guy, THAT one Swords Ranger, they sure know each other

( #sangheili #human #halo #halospotlight #elite #odst #blender #romance #space )

A scene set in space, a sangheili ranger floats with their jetpack active, they seem to be holding an ODST who's helmeted head is resting against the ranger's. Background shows ship debris, a destroyed paris class and a 'covenant' corvette, with a spirit dropship destroyed as well. In the far back the planet below is currently only starting to be lit by a rising sun that's obscured by the planet itself, there seems to be active engagements too with frigates firing upon enemy aircrafts. A ODP is also in the process of blowing up in one of the three cluster formations of 4 ODP clusters visible. The Planet has two moons visible above it, one bigger, the smaller one behind the larger moon.
