((The butterfly line made me laugh outloud))
He meets the touch of his tongue eagerly. He tastes cold, of ozone, but also of the familiar taste of his husband underneath it all. He wraps his arms tight around him, holding him close and tender.
"Nero," he murmurs softly, his lips parting in invitation.
He slides his hands around the demon's waist, leaning up to kiss him again. He's trying not to be too desperate, but he's still so frightening of losing his demon to the Void.
He draws him down onto the bed and kisses the demon lovingly.
He kisses him passionately, pressing against him. "Not for sleep. At least, not yet."
"Please..." he asks the demon, "Won't you come to bed, amore?"
He lets them in the door, then pulls his demon down for a slow kiss.
He holds him close for a moment, then takes his hand and leads him home.
He slips both his arms around the demon, holding him close. "Come home with me, amore. Leave this cold dark place behind, and come see our home, and our wife."
A groan emerges from his lips at the bite. "You are, that's true, but you are also married, and we love you more than life." He leans up and kisses the demon softly.
"You most assuredly drink coffee, and prepare and eat food, at that. We are also married to one another, and to a beautiful woman called Lura. We both still want you around, amore. The Void doesn't get to keep you. You are ours. We have prior claim."
He gasps softly as if someone has punched him in the gut. "I'm sure it's you, amore. It's hot and bitter, and you drink it like water. You like Garlean coffee best, strong and plain." Cid brings the demon's hands to his own face and holds them there with the demon's palms against his cheeks/beard.
He sees it, he SEES it, and he restrains himself from jumping for joy. He smiles up at the demon, taking his hands gently and kissing the knuckles. "You love a hot cup of coffee to warm your hands on, too."
He fights not to shiver as the demon burrows his face against his neck. He can sense the alien menace in the creature, but he knows his husband is still in there somewhere. "You hate the cold. You do everything you can to avoid it much of the time. You love putting your cold hands on my warm back."
He chuckles sadly. "I've always been warm. You've loved that since we were boys, too, usually sleeping in my bed with me on the coldest nights."
He wraps an arm around the demon's waist, keeping one against his cheek. "It's where I first told you I wanted to be with you. We were but boys, no more than 16." He smiles up at him hopefully.
He starts talking. "Remember those Allagan ruins I took you to, where we got in trouble with an automaton? I kissed you for the first time there, up against a console."
He doesn't let go of the demon's face, looking into purple-blue eyes with tears in his own storm gray. "Please amore..."
"Please," he begs. "Please, remember! Come back to me, my amore!" He kisses him again, running his tongue over his bottom lip.
