Somebody will use this guy to explain that the nazi were socialists
There are two types of people
one example: they paid Anna's archive to access al the books they have there
we know AI exists in big part because of big scale piracy. its like when they tell you have to take short showers to save water while they use an obscene amount for.. well.. AI too.
the ethical part is more complicated. there is no AI without all that they already stole. if you accept AI you just accept Piracy. it's an interesting conversation.
I took some time to learn myself. I don't like to criticize a thing I don't understand. So far, I didn't find anything that helped my process, but I won't be so naive to believe because it didn't work for me it wont work for others. My original post is about the idea of letting AI do everything.
I know. that doesn't mean that I have to agree or believe what you say.
I think when truly talented people start using AI we won't really notice. I'm not saying its right, just that its something that will probably happen.
yeah but you're the one replying to what I wrote.
yes, I believe there will be AI tools. I don't know what's going to be, but we can't deny that's gonna happen.
exactly! I'm only replying you because you commented on what I wrote.
yeah, well, I don't know you so I can't take your word for it. and I don't need to convince you either. its ok if you disagree.
no. I don't think it changed art in any meaningful way. I could write a thread, but bassically you only have a tsunami of copies. that's not disruptive.
and yet, we have not seen an art revolution lead by AI
you're using semantics to avoid the point I'm making.
you don't have 2 billion people making videogames, or comics, movies or creating stuff people are trying to connect to a machine that agrees with them but that's a whole other conversation in the matter of art, time will say if I am right or you are.
I'll be presenting a history of spooky Japan for the Washin-kai Fall 2026 lecture series. A Brief History of Yokai with Zack Davisson at the Seattle Asian Art Museum Friday, Oct 23 7:30 - 8:30
of course you need to play the game you create, but I will stand by what I say. playing the game you create is part of the process. there are exceptions, like a multiplayer, but in those cases the novelty is that you don't know what another human will do.
ok, it doesn't necessarily need to be bad. but they had to open it for everybody to train it, so there was an overflow of terrible stuff. that damaged the image of AI, maybe beyond repair
