What pisses me off is YouTube switching it on without any notice, causing me to pour through my audio settings trying to figure out what changed. How hard is it to just make things opt in?

I legit thought "man, the mix here is awful, the voices are way too loud". I promise, audio engineers know what they're doing, turn this shit off.
