Made it to Xi'an Famous Foods in New York, where my novella Automatic Noodle began as a taste and texture inspiration

I love everything about this! Also, ugly floor lamp?

Water is wet. So glad they research this stuff.

This made me go look up the Alchemised editions and I found five I want... I can't pick one but having it broken into three volumes is smart because it is so long.

how I rate books: 1 ⭐: hated it but did finish it 2 ⭐: didn't enjoy it but did finish it 3 ⭐: could've been better; could've been worse 4 ⭐: decent book I enjoyed reading 5 ⭐: loved it and will reread it

I've seen dozens recently and also couldn't name a book or author.

Congrats!

THIS! They all look like sepia-shaded garbage and I hate it!

share a character that reminds you of yourself

Apparently my nap slowed down the progress of my hubby and daughter's packing. They verified I was awake and now it sounds like elephants are running around all three floors. So I kinda feel like an ass wanting to tell them it's dinner time and I'm hungry...

I not only got dressed and left the house but I also did laundry. I'm exhausted, but I have clean sheets on the bed and nothing else I need to do today. I only hope hubby and youngest get some cleaning and packing done this weekend. Their spaces are... cluttered. My shit's done.

Ended up doing karaoke in the shower instead, to my playlist titled "FUCKED UP" and feeling better;) But also Inhave a very supportive family who I talked through my emotions with prior to the shower. So, alls better, mostly.

Anyone else prefer crying in the shower? I literally thought, "Sorry I can't have a breakdown right now, I need to wash my hair." Then remembered I can do BOTH at the same time! Also, these tears were activated by briefly looking up news in the US. I fucking hate this timeline.

A little good luck for you. 😽😽🤍
