Yeah. I learn best when I have someone I can directly ask about something specific. I've made character builds in Harmony but they're not rigs since they weren't reusable between cuts. Finding a master controller tut with a character that's more complex than bojack horseman just seems impossible.

I know there's ones like Zebirdbrain and Onion Skin who have excellent videos, but often they fall into the "outdated" category.

The thing is I understand the principles pretty well. I've read Animator's Survival Kit multiple times (it's a legit good read) and Illusion of Life. What I want is instruction on using Toon Boom to its fullest. And tutorials are often outdated or stop after the most basic of basics.

Why is it so hard to find decent animation instruction? German schools are cheap but don't often teach 2D or require B2 proficiency. US is unaffordable. Free online tutorials always seem to stop at the most basic lessons or are outdated. I've been trying for years why is this so goddamn hard?

Yeah the fact that Brave won over Paranorman is just utter bullshit. Same with Zootopoia over Kubo.

Could we all collectively agree to give Laika a win here? Ever since Kubo and the Two Strings their movies haven't broken even.
