It's official! I'm *permanently* banned from X for tweeting "TLDR: Fascism." (appeal denied)
What an honor—and a sign that the Silicon Valley billionaires feel threatened by my book. (One of my final viral posts featured this cover.)

The CEO of Palantir posted a fascist manifesto on X. I pointed out that it was fascist—which resulted in a permanent suspension from X (my second time!). So, when you hear the tweeters complaining that BlueSky is intolerant, remember why many of us came here in the first place.
Gotta give people hope!
Thank you!
It's in my book.

Coming Nov. 3: "The Nerd Reich" in Italian! They translated it as "Silicon Reich: The Rise of the Tech Giants and the War On Democracy." This is one of MANY forthcoming translations—Bulgarian, Dutch, Italian, French, Polish, Greek, Finnish, Japanese, South Korean, and Vietnamese!

Billionaire families have spent $1.7 BILLION on the 2026 midterms so far — a 5,200% increase since the 2010 midterms. Citizens United is among the worst decisions in history. It corrupts our system every day. Big Money is the root of our dysfunction.

His book, The Nerd Reich, is currently reprinting (Ireland/UK edition) but if you'd like a copy once it's back in just let us know, hoping to have more by the end of next week.
In their defense, it's bad business to go too hard at the very same people you need at your big flashy conference every year. Access is ass-kiss—and invites are revenue—after all.
So, ask yourself: Does your favorite tech critic have a detailed and specific critique of tech fascism? Do they name names and expose the connections and the financial flows? Do they rise to the level that situation demands, or do they scribble in the margins for ad revenue? Think about it.
It will probably come as no surprise to most people here, but some of the people with the biggest audiences are playing a careful game in which they challenge power...but not too much.
I was going to appear on a big podcast that bravely "challenges" tech power. But first, they wanted to set some ground rules around what issues we'd avoid. I could have used the exposure, but that was an easy and instant GFY.
