Player Ratings: Colorado Plays San Jose to Frustrating 1-1 Draw Commerce City, Colo.- The Rapids returned to MLS play after the international break with a home match against San Jose....

Rapids Academy forward Kade Kolling has been called in for the USYNT U-16s. They have camp in Chula Vista, CA October 8-13. Kolling is current on the Rapids Academy's U-16 MLS NEXT team.

Matt Wells says the club was looking at another international player during the transfer window. But that likely would have limited Donavan Phillip the rest of the season (INT slot, or moved to the bench). Decided to not make that move. Phillip is flying with 3 goals in 3.

Colorado Rapids captain Rob Holding said the team has been having player meetings on how to react to conceding goals. They're trying to react better to that and try different things. They did so on the field after the San Jose goal tonight.

Yeah. Had an observation in the recap if you haven’t read it yet. Not sure how to feel about it. But it’s felt for awhile that Georgi’s not going to be a starter once all the new signings are up to speed.

Rob Holding says he's not contemplating his future with 6 games left in the Rapids regular season. He's not in a rush to decide his future. He enjoys living in Denver.

Matt Wells on subbing Minoungou on then off: I was in a tough spot on the bench. I wanted to get Ibrahim in. The guys on the front line were performing well. Wanted to win the game. Thought leaving the others on would help with that. Tough one for Georgi still.

Paxten Aaronson: "I've come into a bit of good form recently... It's just a mindset thing going into each game. I have the confidence of the previous game, knowing that I'm just going to deliver a goal, an assist every game. Still, I leave that game wanting more."

Frustration: Rapids Draw San Jose Despite Donavan Phillip Header Commerce City, Colo. - It was another frustrating ending for Colorado Rapids after scoring first. On Saturday night, they hosted San Jose Earthquakes....

Final. Colorado Rapids 1. San Jose Earthquakes 1. A draw seems fair. It could easily have been more than 1-1. Pids were in cruise control. Romney found a goal. Then it turned into a basketball game the last 20 minutes. Disappointing result for Colorado given how they started.

73' Rosenberry subs on for Cannon. Second sub and second sub window for Colorado.

67th minute cam:

Before the kickoff, Geori Minoungou on for Phillip. Ricketts and Bouda on for San Jose. Three attacking changes.
