happy sunday! fonts.nuxt.com v1 is out πŸŽ‰

if you haven't tried it, here's how:

1️⃣ use `font-family` in css or tailwind
βœ… ... and you're done!

nuxt will detect the font, self-host it, and generate preloads + font metrics to cut layout shift + load time

no configuration required ✨

- @π–Ύπ—π—…π—ˆπ—€/π—Œπ—‚π—€π—‡π–Ίπ—…π—Œ asks a model a question about an event and saves the answer on it. For example: "who caused this 500: the user, our code, or a third-party service?" The event gets `fault: "upstream"` with a confidence score, and you can filter, alert, or skip sampling on it.

- `evlog logs` lets you query the events your app logged locally, from the terminal: only errors, the slowest requests, one request in full from its ID, p50/p95 per route, or any field (`--where payment.amount>5000`). No dashboard needed while you develop.

@hugorcd.comOct 9, 2026, 6:40 PM

- The CLI no longer needs its own install. If evlog is in your project, `npx evlog init`, `map` and `doctor` just work.

evlog this week: - The GitHub Action is on the Marketplace. Add `uses: evloghq/action@latest` and every PR gets an observability score compared with main. If a change leaves a route with less logging, it's flagged on that line of the diff.

Very soon, it will be possible to preview content changes from pull requests within nuxt.com, with no redeploy and from our different GitHub repo sources πŸ₯Ή

Claude Max now gives you up to $200 of API credit every month.

Put the key in Bring Your Own Key on @vercel.com AI Gateway once, and every eve.dev agent you ship runs on it. You get logs, budgets and ZDR without any extra setup, and switching models is just a string change.

A dark interface displays a list of AI projects with their status indicators, featuring options for logs, budgets, and API keys.

server logs help reconstruct what happened before the error. we also kept the debugging controls reachable by keyboard, with visible focus and a return path from menus and dialogs. source actions stay usable in narrow windows.

Keyboard interactions across Nuxt’s development error page. Source controls have visible focus, Space toggles framework detail, Tab moves through copy formats and Enter copies. Escape returns focus to Copy. The request-details dialog shows a focused disclosure group; Enter expands a group and closing the dialog returns to its trigger. Annotations explain how each control responds without covering its label.Annotated Nuxt development error page: a narrow light-theme view keeps the message, source actions and error marker usable. An unread log badge prompts investigation, and an empty drawer states that no logs are available. Synthetic demo output shows the events leading to an exception. Notes explain using timestamps and severity to follow the sequence and filtering warnings and errors to reduce routine output.

We made Nuxt’s error page clearer, with @danielroe.dev

Before and after the same Nuxt development error. Nuxt 4.5.2 gives the generic heading β€˜An error has occurred’; the current my-bad renderer in Nuxt 4.6 puts β€˜Cannot read properties of undefined (reading name)’ first, followed by the failing expression. Notes explain the clearer starting point and expanding callers or component ancestry when needed.Two views of the same failing frame. Original TypeScript points to shared/directory.ts:8:20; compiled JavaScript points to 4:18. Annotations explain how the highlight and caret locate the expression, source maps connect generated code to TypeScript, file actions open the editor, and copy location shares the precise position. Editor links retain the original source target.Application callers, optional framework frames and component ancestry in the current Nuxt development error renderer. Notes explain tracing the call that supplied the arguments, hiding library internals while following application code, preserving frame order, revealing framework detail for library debugging, and opening a captured component source file. Execution and UI hierarchy answer different questions.The Copy error split button and its menu. The primary action copies the diagnosis and source for an issue. Named menu choices offer Markdown, a prompt giving an agent the task and error context, or structured JSON for scripts and tools. All formats use the same report. Purple annotations explain each format’s purpose without covering the controls.

I wanted evlog to make good observability easier to adopt. Seeing signs that it’s also becoming something people maintain as their apps evolve means a lot.

@hugorcd.comOct 7, 2026, 5:58 PM

Over the last 30 days, 91% of the 7,154 recorded map runs scored between 90 and 100. That’s a snapshot of runs, not proof of how each individual app has progressed, but it’s encouraging alongside that trend.

@hugorcd.comOct 7, 2026, 5:58 PM

What I’ve been noticing in the CLI telemetry over time is that scores trend higher and keep coming back green. That’s the part I find really encouraging: adoption seems to translate into better observability, beyond the initial setup.

@hugorcd.comOct 7, 2026, 5:58 PM

Seeing evlog.dev adoption grow is cool. Seeing signs that it’s making a lasting difference is much more meaningful to me.

evlog map checks an app against observability requirements and gives it a score, making it easier to see where context is missing and what needs attention.
