update: per a hearing today Oscar Belgal was detained overnight in Elizabeth NJ and is now being held in Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as his attorneys push for his release. he is still in pain and apparently has a bullet still in his body.

there is still a lot of chaos in what has and hasn't been reported out, but i was on the scene and personally saw the NYPD clearing the roads outside the hospital and ICE agents in the vicinity, as well as NYPD getting violent with protesters and Darializa Avila Chevalier

last night eyewitnesses saw Oscar Belgal — the man shot by ICE with his 5 year old in the car — discharged from the hospital into ICE custody, with feds speeding off as NYPD cleared the roads for them of protesters. his attorneys don't know where he is; he's seemingly been taken out of NY state.
