Note the right lateral offset of the yellow centerline of you look across the fault. (Traffic spotters had my back for this quick snap).

A road through the central coast of California, as viewed from the central line of the highway, looking off into the distance before the road turns. Thereā€™s mountains in the background and a few oak trees on the side of the road, but the important feature is at the bottom of the photo where thereā€™s a rumble piece of asphalt that goes across the entire highway. That is the San Andreas fault and if you look across the rumble area, you can easily see the yellow center line has been offset to the right by a couple inches. this offset has happened within the last 10 years or so as they frequently repave this section.

Itā€™s been 12 hours & we have a new scandal where yet another person will resign. I cannot find a gif that isnā€™t unfairly maligning clowns or radically understating the sheer quantity of own-goals & unforced errors.

I like people, enjoy living, & believe the purpose of society is to help each other, so my vote is easy (& my MLA is outstanding). But the opposition platform is ā€œThat's the objective, right? To monetize this whole thing. It's about [ā€¦] going into their place and just stealing shit nonstop.ā€œ

It is really, really difficult to explain how absolutely batshit insane BC provincial politics are and the absolute amateur hour level of scandal we get. Itā€™s THIS CLOSE between the party of anyone vs ā€œwe can steal everythingā€ as an actual, direct quote.

New footage of Hexed released. I still havenā€™t learned my lesson to not peek around at reactions. I love the centeyepede so much itā€™s my inspiration for my wrap party gown. Itā€™s just so FUZZY. Excellent monster, way cuddlier than real centipedes. I just need to source more eyeballs.

I know how many hours of my life it cost to clean up their mess. I hope they waste exactly as much time x10 on job applications that never contact them back, their effort lost into the void. And I hope they enjoy untangling the abuse reports I dumped on their ISP.

RIGHT??? Like. This is a silly game about rocks. Itā€™s for fun! The stakes are nothing! Cheating accomplishes absolutely nothing as winning doesnā€™t magically translate into more people liking your rock. šŸ™„ But I can ID the exact person (by name!). Their motivation is a power trip of causing sadness.

As a personal note, the absolute audacity involved with writing snark on the Players Survey after being personally responsible for stuffing hundreds of ballots a match using rotating VPNs is making me contemplate the terms of my ethical oaths.

Yeeeeah, the #MinCup26 Final is going to need a detailed audit.

When the match closes, I can do the rough-cut enough for provisional results that will hopefully be enough to declare a winner, but the actual finalized vote-count will need to wait until after bedtime stories.

Seismologists thought that someone was breaking in and sent security to interrupt, so they know someone saw. No idea if they know their romance is documented in the scientific record! šŸ˜‚
