Yeah, not really arguing about that, but you can see how you can have one cohesive space (a castle, whatever) with discrete levels contained within it. That's the essence of the megadungeon.

Castle Ravenloft doesn't fit the bill for a megadungeon, but I say that a megadungeon is five dungeon levels in a trenchcoat, this is what I mean. "Larders of Ill-Omen." "The Rooms of Weeping." "The Court of the Count." This shit slaps. See also the different regions in Castlevania: SotN.
