It was reasonable to have Brewers vs. Dodgers as your NLCS prediction to start the season. I don't think many had Rays vs. Guardians in the ALCS though. I still don't think the Guardians are very good, but I'm happy for Jose Ramirez to hit so well during their comeback.

The biggest quality of life improvement I've made as a manager is Claude skills to wrangle Jira. One skill gives daily summaries of all relevant Jira updates. Another one gives me an update on all of our quarterly goals. The real win would be ditching Jira, but that's not happening. Yet.

Hard yes on that tip. I gave a lightning talk a couple of weeks ago. Wrote a script in Obsidian. Left some annotations telling it where to pull example code snippets from a project. Gave that to Claude with some brief instructions and got a reveal.js deck that was 95% done.

I promise you there would be no AI alignment problem if the CEOs of AI companies faced jail time if their AI killed anyone.

We can also just point it at flaky tests and it usually fixes them on the first try.

As I'm working on other tickets, I'm mostly able to just tell it to port the legacy tests to our new test suite. We've documented the patterns we want to use in that suite and their are a lot of examples, so it can almost always port them without issue.
