You have to be approved for a certain badge type and on the busiest days (Saturday and Sunday) they’re apparently allowing a small amount of regular passes to attend this panels as an “aspiring pro” lotto, but man….maybe I just wanna talk abt comics and advocacy as a fan idk 🫩

Being a fan in the current big con atmosphere really feels like “if you, a fan, want to have interesting conversations and not just shop, they’ll [corporations] will beat you with hammers”

Ngl, it’s kinda annoying that NYCC is locking away some of their most interesting panels for access only with certain badge types….like, fandom meetups and signings are cool but I wanna talk about craft and art and they only allow Exhibitors, Content Creators and Press passes to do so 😔

Tooth fixed, root canal miraculously averted 🙌🏼

After and before that, I hope to be roaming around in my Superman cosplay with some comic and manga stickers on me, so if you’re stopping by maybe we’ll run into each other!!

I’ll be signing for Nightmare in Wonderland Friday 10/9!! Would love to see people there!

It doesn’t help that I’m already freaked out by medical stuff and have had bad experiences w dentists, my anxiety is through the roof 😭

I feel like I’m at the precipice of a dental emergency and I don’t know what to do or where to go and I don’t have insurance, I hate being American so much I’m literally freaking out

The NY Times framing every fascist as tough strong & brilliant, and not a dumb racist liar, is one of many ways the NY Times tells Democrats that they are Not On Our Side, and Dems mostly choose not to listen

Would smash the follow button a second time if I could for the Sam’s Town and Emotion picks alone

Yeeeees @ SVA 😌😌😌!!!!!

Taking RISO classes, gonna be seeing some Rini RISO prints soon 👀

The non-insignificant amount of time spent on giving these new people context is dragging me down, especially after getting rid of my fave (Sein) 🥲 The mage trials themselves have potential but I genuinely don’t care about any of these poorly dressed Hot Topic managers……

Not all, I like Frieren and Sein’s designs a lot, Himmel and Heiter are cool looking, and Fern is good too. But I got to the Mage Test arc and most of these new characters are so stupid looking imo.

I have extremely mixed feelings about Frieren rn (I’m not done watching yet, but my initial thoughts are complicated) but one thing I can say with my whole chest is WOW, the character designs are so distractingly awful.
