hi bloggers !! today, brookie shows off some cool things you can do with galleries and photos in pckt. let us know what you think β€οΈ we can't wait to see what you share π πππποΈ
they do "partnerships" and "acquisitions" we do collaboration and cooperation π€πΌ
"first-of-its-kind" we literally do this here every day here? the open social web enables this by default, but instead creators + audiences wait for boardroom business deals bw two ceos who don't even use social media. old, but haven't stopped thinking abt it. the corps yearn for protocols.
note: tested on a samsung galaxy tab s9+ (snapdragon 8 gen 2)
that said, the fact that these can even load is a crazy shift. i'm hoping w the steam frame, nvidia spark laptops, and android on handhelds + now attempting desktop, we see more focus on that optimization the way we saw for steam deck + linux. future looks bright, man. very exciting stuff. 2/π§΅
so, first off, really cool and excited about the potential here. most games i tried loaded except for sf6 and sw galactic racer, known bugs. THAT SAID, mass majority of steam games aren't optimized for proton for arm, so the fr is hard to nail down, even for less demanding games. 1/
steam on android holy shit π€―

In my free time, I've been building and testing an experience that moves away from the emotional roulette of feeds and the suck-you-in nature of infinite scroll. It puts your people front and center, always, before anything else. If you're interested in testing in the coming weeks, let me know.
"who's behind you" my...my family and friends? and a community of people who care about the people they build for?
"who's funding you"
no, haven't heard anything about that yet
YES
at a time when everyone's trying to save money, they're just throwing another thing on the pile with no new innovation. what a waste.
all the googlebook reviews are telling me this could've been a phone-to-lapdock platform and didn't need another $1000 device to get into the hands of as many people as possible. why in the world are they shipping premium laptops when they can give people a variety of shells and maybe a wire?
