that's just not true. You might not experience it and not want to be with someone who experiences it and that's okay but monogamy was made into a social norm through heavy romanticisation in media. Everyone loves differently :3 (also you can still get cheated on in poly relationships just fyi lol)

i can definitely see how it can look like that to a monogamous person but unfortunately most people in 1:1 relationships end up cheating or longing for another person at points in their relationships :/ Monogamy is a social norm that works for a lot of people but it is not a natural default.
