Bethany wore a “Protect The Dolls” t-shirt during rehearsals. The BBC posted it on their socials then quietly deleted and reposted it without showing her from the front. On TV last night they actually blurred the message #Strictly

For those of you who grew up with DVDs and blu-rays, what are some memorable menus and/or games that stick out in your mind? Could be for any reason, the theming, the execution, the tackiness, the game design, etc

I'm still sorting through these but like this thing has folders which contain hundreds of joel valentine's original sound effects for powerpuff girls and this is like fucking christmas for sound effects artists. this is like finding the ark of the covenant

like The Shadow isn't the most complex puzzle in Suzuki Bakuhatsu, not by a long shot, but the visuals of it are so immediately arresting - turning a shadow into a puzzle like that takes a very specific kind of skills. puzzle making as a specific part of games really takes a particular mindset.

there is a different puzzle that's already hitting the inevitable "this subject matter is extremely stupid and i want to post about it but not while the hunt is live" vibes and i am so frustrated that i can't post about it yet. that very stupid man is not going to outlive the thing he's making.
